Food was all really good. We had the chicken flautas, tacos de pastor, chorizo, bistec, and a churro de dulce de leche. The service was good and friendly. Will definitely recommend and come back.

Alert! This is a true hidden gem. Friendly, clean, welcoming environment with great food like what you would make if you had the time and the recipes. Wonderful tacos! Love the fantastic and flavorful meat, the sauces, the corn appetizer and chips, everything! Easy to understand menu that is not overwhelming. Bottled sodas, iced tea. Churros for dessert, yay! Plenty of parking. Cute, colorful decor. A must visit, and not just for Taco Tuesdays. Anytime! We love Taqueria Catrinas.

Speechless at how amazing this restaurant is. The service was extremely fast, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the FOOD may have been the best I’ve had in my life. All the flavors were cooked and layered to perfection. It was clearly made with care. They serve it on these beautiful plates and, yes, the free chicken tostadas are real.

I would eat here every day if I lived closer! Came here after soccer game and I was not disappointed. Kids ordered birria taco, I ordered the enchiladas husband ordered tacos (steak and ribs tacos). All of it was delicious. Service was incredible the restaurant is super clean. I’ll be back!

I went to this taqueria last night with a friend, and I absolutely loved it! The food was so delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. One thing I really appreciated is that you can reserve a table, which made the whole experience even smoother. The atmosphere was amazing too. There was a family celebrating a birthday while we were there, and it was so nice to see the staff get involved—singing and celebrating with them. It made the place feel so warm and welcoming. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. On top of that, the restaurant is always clean and well-kept, which I really value. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

I rushed to leave a 5 star review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! 🤩 Laura was my server and she got everything right/gave me recommendations and had great customer service! I have two of the steak tacos and a side of guacamole with chips. Not to mention, I got to taste the chicken tinga tostadas and THEY WERE amazing! 🙏💐🙌 I will be coming back for more hehe

This place is a hidden gem. The owner Juan came and chatted with us and made us feel so welcome. His wife was our waitress and she instantly felt like a friend. She had great recommendations. The queso flameada in the picture was so freaking good. Tacos were so flavorful and fresh. Come eat here, you’ll love it!

It's a small place but a must.... .The food is vibrant, savory and flavorful. The presentation is artfully placed. This place is a hidden gem 💎. I will make the drive from Irving to eat here. The tinga tostada they give (free) you as appetizer is delicious. The shrimp tacos are my favorite. But honestly I've tried many dishes and all have been amazing.

Tried the chicken flautas and they were really good - crispy, flavorful, and fresh. The nachos were fresh too and the salsa was super good. The place is a little cramped, but it actually adds to the local hidden gem vibe. Ambiance was nice and felt very authentic. Service was okay, not amazing, but the food and overall vibe definitely make it worth visiting if you’re looking for a solid local Mexican spot in Carrollton.
